Kachina Drone 334 performance boat

Gets a boatload of Focal, JL Audio, Alpine and Polk Audio.

Alpine marine source unit with triple 4-volt output. The front zone encompasses all the in-boat speakers, the rear zone drives the removeable transom speakers and there's a dedicated subwoofer level control.

Just inside the cockpit to cabin bulkhead are two JL Audio remote-mounted level controls that split the in-boat zone into interior cabin speakers and exterior cockpit/bow speakers. The level controls operate rear mounted line drivers. This way, there are no long cables in the signal path. Also, as the preamp is split between line drivers and followed by multiple amplifier channels, there is no loss of pre-amp voltage.

A second radio frequency remote control for the navigator or for those rafting behind when anchored.

iPod cradle with high speed full function connectivity, also providing power and charge.

Existing flipdown LCD and concealed DVD player. The DVD audio output is delivered to the Alpine source unit for a more impactful soundtrack.

Three Alpine PDX class D amplifiers, totaling thirteen channels and 1600 conservative watts.

Focal Access 6½" coaxials with marine grills in the cabin.

Focal coaxials in the bow.

Rear aiming Focal coaxials in new injection-molded bezels at the rear of the cockpit coaming panels. These are angled directly at the rear bench passengers.

The original 6" x 9"s under the rear bench were replaced with dual Focal 6 ½'' coaxials on each side. Vinyl bolsters and painted birch baffles dress the exterior and interior. These forward-firing speakers with angled tweeters project forward to the pilot and navigator.

Dual 10-inch acoustic suspension JL Audio marine subwoofers have independent .9 cu. Ft. sealed enclosures under the rear bench.

Polk Audio outdoor enclosed speakers provide a directional transom speaker to project out and away from the boat while beached or at anchor. With the RF remote control you've got access from 50 feet away.

Before getting underway the transom speakers disconnect in seconds and are stored away.

A performance boat has got to have lots of total speaker surface area and lots of reserve power if the stereo is going to sound good and keep up at cruising speeds. This one has it covered on all accounts.
