'11 Malibu with Exile Audio System.

Starting with the tower, two pair of Exile SXT65 surf speakers are mounted via the G3 brackets.

Four pair of Exile in-boat coaxials in the bow, pass-through and cockpit. The pass-through buckets received resin-coated birch baffle rings on the back side in order to increase the structural rigidity of a very thin and flexible plastic.

Under the driver's helm we installed an Exile Big12 subwoofer in a massive bass-reflex enclosure. The enclosure is all 3/4-inch thick construction and coated with a black fiberglass resin. A tongue and groove bracket set stabilizes the rear of the enclosure while two mounting tabs lock down the front. The enclosure is elevated a full inch off the sole with HDPE mounting pads. There are no mounting holes passing through the enclosure and there is full drainage under the enclosure. The removeable facade is clad in factory carpet, making it as durable as possible.

An underdash WetSounds WS420EQ mounted on an HDPE panel which serves to strain relieve all cables.

Amplifier panel with protective shroud across the base of the amplifiers. An Exile Harpoon drives the tower, an xi800.4 drives the eight in-boat coaxials plus an xi2500.1 drives the Big12 subwoofer.

Four Optima Blue Tops operate the stereo and house bank while a fifth Optima is reserved for starting. Concealed under a custom battery shroud is a SurePower 200 amp voltage sensing solenoid that combines the stereo bank with the alternator when underway and separates the stereo bank when at rest. Polished aluminum top plates add a little finishing touch to the cover shroud.

Cascading battery switches allow for isolation during AC shore charging and provide emergency override and split the four stereo batteries into two banks of two when required. A cover shroud reveals the helm breaker and two battery switches but conceals the wiring and distribution.

Just above the battery switches we installed a digital voltmeter and 3-position switch to monitor the battery banks individually.

An Inteli-Power triple-bank 30 amp charger restores and maintains three seperate banks consisting of two batteries, two batteries and the starting battery.

An AC inlet within the storage compartment next to the engine provides convenient access when in storage.

This is a typical EARMARK production install where everything is virtually bulletproof and very easy to access for diagnoisis and service if the need were to arise. The batteries were relocated under the bench seat cushion so that full use of the port locker is available for storage.
