Earmark designed an audio system and lighting group that complimented the orange and blue graphics.

The factory Clarion marine CD player with a Sirius radio tuner or iPod interface is a good start.

A JL Audio six channel amplifier drives two 10-inch subwoofers and six fullrange coaxils. While the amplifier drives the cockpit system the CD player adequately drives two interior speakers.

A dark charcoal vinyl wraps a birch trim ring that conceals the amplifier wiring.

Powerful front cockpit speakers are crucial in any open boat, especially in a performance boat, so we doubled up with MB Quart oversized marine coaxils. We used the factory orange vinyl to wrap custom speaker bolsters.

To the rear of the cockpit a third pair of MB Quart coaxils play to the rear bench passengers.

Under the rear bench seat a pair of Clarion free-air 10-inch subwoofers.

To the interior of the bench locker each subwoofer received a 3/4-inch fiberglass-resin-coated birch baffle ring. The rings are painted white to match the environment. The 1/4-inch fiberglass reinforced with the 3/4-inch rings improves the bass performance. We also silicon the seam between the seat console and the deck to eliminate unwanted resonance.

Each speaker received an orange LED treatment. The daylight-visible acrylic light rings and step lights serve as a perfect nighttime courtesy package.

By dusk the lighting effect is already powerful yet these LED’s draw very little current as compared to traditional courtesy lights.
The engine compartment cooling vents received an indirect orange LED light treatment. White acrylic reflectors assist in dispersing the light. Clear, sealed tubes protect the exterior-rated lights.

EARMARK stocks over 100 lighting products to give your boat the custom touch.
