Prepped for the winter boatshow this Chaparrel Signature
suspends four missle-like bullets under its wing.
Four staggered
Bullet pods follow the contour of the arch.
Armourment
includes four Polk Audio dB series oversized 6 ¾-inch
coaxils rear-firing out over the swimdeck.
Four frosted acrylic light rings and 33 diodes per ring
create a hot glow around each arch speaker.
Dual Clarion 10-inch free-air subwoofers.
Thick resin-coated birch baffle rings are covered in a marine
non-mildew rubber-backed carpet. These rings reinforce the
subwoofer baffle making a substantial difference in bass
production.
Concealed within the cockpit sink console a JL Audio four-channel
amplifier powers the four arch pods and the dual subwoofers.
A carpet-clad birch shroud dresses the amplifier and protects
the hidden cables.
On a different Chaparral, this 256ssi received tower speakers with a neutral approach, white on white.
Oversized Alpine 7 ½- inch marine coaxils are loaded into a pair of oversized 8-inch Bullet pods powdercoated in white. This combination of extra speaker surface area with extra pod displacement absolutely rocks!
A six-channel amplifier drives the two tower speakers, four cockpit coaxils and a subwoofer. The front source unit channels drive the bow speakers.
A pair of Alpine 6 ½ - inch marine coaxils replaced he factory bow speakers.
We added an additional pair of Alpine coaxils to the front of the cockpit where none existed from factory. This forward cockpit location is the most vital speaker position on the boat.
Replacement of the factory rear cockpit speakers with Alpine.
A JL Audio 10-inch marine free-air subwoofer in a rear bench seat console.
Within the console interior a marine carpet-clad resin-coated birch baffle ring set reinforces the thin fiberglass.
We added two iPod ports. One is at the helm. The second is installed in the transom within a recessed cup and covered with a hinged lid.
