Earmark's Prize Winning Corvette Installations

This Corvette installation represents a trademark competition system created by the Earmark Plano Store. The dominant theme is the interior enclosures, trim panels, and facades that are finished in matching high gloss auto body paint. This particular type of finish allows for radical three-dimensional shapes. The only limit is your imagination. The visual presentation in person is far more striking than any of these photos can capture.

This process begins with an intricate wood skeleton that provides the structural foundation in the basic shape. The next phase is a fiberglass cloth shell in the final form. Fiberglass combines lightweight and considerable strength. The fiberglass shell is then covered in a thin polyurethane skin that serves to smooth all surface irregularities. Finally, a matching exterior automotive paint finish and clear coat give a deep, gloss appearance. These shiny panels are an Earmark specialty that can be applied to any system design. We can follow the exterior color scheme or add colors ranging from pastels to neon, as well as from metallics to flames.

The F#1 Status Processor is the heart of this system. It controls crossover, equalization, phase, time alignment and every aspect of tuning the perfect system. This is truly the best that is available today.

Behind the scene, each amplifier has its own tray, which provides for physical mounting and wire routing. Each amplifier is capped by two pieces of plexiglass transducers that are edge lit by blue neon. The five amplifiers are enveloped by a glossy black facade. On the interior of the rear wall of the trunk, are the various fuse and power distribution blocks. Other hidden panels allow easy access and service.
