This big red Crownline Bowrider received an iPod module and mount, a complete audio system overhaul plus an interior that is lit up in red.

Within the driver’s helm console locker, dual fan-cooled Boston Acoustics amplifiers total seven discrete channels.

Polk Audio dB series separate components at the front of the cockpit. This is the most critical position for speakers on the boat so we elected to go with components versus coaxils.

JL Audio marine 10-inch free-air subwoofers with one on each side of the cockpit. The combing fiberglass is internally reinforced with resin-coated birch baffle rings to add rigidity to the mounting which improves bass performance. The nearby 6 3/4 –inch midbass drivers are loaded into acoustic isolation chambers. This keeps the midbass driver from becoming a passive radiator for the woofers. This isolation procedure seriously improves the midbass and midrange quality of sound.

Six red LED light rings are controlled via an under dash switch. Shown are the light rings in varying levels of ambient light.

In addition to speaker light rings we have step lights, courtesy lights, lit up drink holders and under swim deck lights. With acrylic difussers we can create a variety of effects in white, yellow, orange, red, blue, green, plum, aqua and purple. Available controls include an RF keyfob remote control, digital dimmers, interactive switches and more. We also have dozens of lit up graphics and logos.

Here’s another example of a large Crownline. In this case the LS has a black powdercoated tower. For contrast we used chrome pods. Blue LED light rings highlight the tower speakers.
