The system featured in this 2002 Cadillac Escalade was a surprise Christmas gift from a wife to her husband. She made the entire purchase on her own. What a lucky guy!

While the system we installed is extensive, we took special care to maintain the vehicle integrity and make as few modifications as possible. This SUV can be returned to original with nary a clue.

Here is the 2002 Cadillac Escalade out in front of the Earmark Addison Store.

This photo shows the four video monitors. The motorized dash unit displays the navigation mapping to the driver plus the readout for all general audio functions. The two headrest monitors are dual source units, which allow for rear seat passengers to view a video or play a video game separately. The larger flip-down overhead monitor provides viewing for the third seat passengers.
This shows the overhead monitor in the concealed position.
This shows the motorized indash monitor in its concealed position. This unit is a full controller for AM/FM, CD changer, DVD navigation and much more.

Flush in the rear of the console is a custom panel that provides an on/off power switch connected to an AC inverter, an AC power plug and three gold-plated audio/video jacks.

This allows instant hook-up of the PlayStation 2. You can also catch a glimpse of the single-play DVD player in the lower dash console.

Hidden within the interior console is a DC plug and a subwoofer level control knob.
An infrared repeater for the multi-function remote control is located at the rear of the front overhead console.
The K-40 Undetectable radar detector and laser detector features separate front and rear visual and sonic indicators that are custom installed within the instrument cluster. This SUV also received a K-40 laser diffuser stealth-mounted in the front grill. The radar and laser antennas are hidden within the front grill and rear bumper. They are all invisible.
Just to the left of the steering column you can spot the dual concentric radar unit controls.
A radio frequency emitter is located in the rear cargo area headliner for the wireless headphones.
Concealed under the rear seats is a six-channel amplifier, stiffening capacitor, Dolby 5.1 processor and satellite tuner.
Behind the third row seat is a rear-firing subwoofer enclosure containing three JL Audio W3 10-inch woofers. This enclosure quickly removes along with the third seat when extra cargo area is required for long road trips or serious shopping excursions.

With the access panel removed from the rear driver’s side interior quarter panel, another subwoofer terminal is exposed. This is connected to a Boston Pro 10-inch subwoofer built into a hybrid MDF and fiberglass enclosure, which is hidden behind the factory grill. This provides a secondary subwoofer when the primary triple 10-inch sub enclosure is removed.

Also, just forward of the quarter panel sub is a storage compartment and folding lid that contains a 6-disc DVD/CD changer.

The front doors were fitted with JL Audio 6 1/2” component speakers behind the factory grills. The rear door speakers used JL Audio 5 1/4” integral-mount components, also behind the factory provisions. Other components that are concealed and not shown are an audio/video multi-zone multi-source switcher, diversity TV antenna, four passive crossover networks and satellite tuner controller.

Since the Escalade features the GM OnStar System, a module was installed so that the system remains fully operational.
We added several square yards of RoadKill sound dampening material. This not only improves the quiet ride, but also serves to further the audio system’s dynamic range by lowering the noise floor.

Last, but not least, we installed a fully featured Clifford AvantGuard IV security system, which includes most every security and convenience amenity.

If there was a concealed space available we found a way to fill it with an electronic component.
