The fish aren’t biting? Now you can pick up some tips from ESPN’s ‘Caught Ya!’ on any lake in North America as well as the surrounding coastal waters.

The galley received a 20-inch LCD TV on a swiveling and articulating bracket. A custom tensioning bolt keeps the TV from moving over choppy waters. The TV can be directed at the dinette area or the v-berth. Plus, the TV can be placed against the cabinetry when maximum counter space is required. We constructed a birch cabinet covered in an ABS laminate so that it is completely waterproof.

Behind the TV, an A/B ship-to-shore antenna switch selects between the onboard tracking satellite TV antenna and the boathouse antenna.

The concealed DVD player utilizes an infrared repeater for full remote control while it’s hidden behind the screen.

The satellite TV receiver features a radio frequency remote control for operation from anywhere on the boat.

Shown is the dual FM/CD/receivers and the KVH Tracvision switch. Between the receivers an infrared target is flushed in. We also added the environmental controls to our electronics panel.

Dual zone operation is achieved by using two identical receivers which share the audio/video sources. The upper receiver drives the cockpit speakers and is controlled by a hardwired waterproof remote control at the helm. The lower receiver drives the cabin speakers. The changer ports where converted to a multi-source auxiliary input. AM, FM, CD, MP3, DVD and satellite TV audio sources can be selected independently and simultaneously.

Above the hardtop, we installed a KVH Tracvision on a polymer leveling pad.

The Tracvision antenna coax, data and power harness exit under the hardtop and are concealed in a black nylon mesh loom to match the factory overhead storage net. The cables are routed through the interior of the tower tubes and penetrates the deck cap through the interior of the mounting flange.
