RAY 260 SUNDANCER CABIN LCD AND DVD |
|
A 7-inch widescreen monitor is mounted above the galley cabinet.
This unit can be viewed from the bench seats or couch directly
across the cabin. A locking star nut at the base allows the
monitor to release and pan over to the v-berth. The monitor
and its swivel mount can be mounted at the cabinets
center or forward corner. Also, multiple monitors can be used.
|
|
| |
An upholstered pedestal elevates the base over the trim muff
and an upholstered cover conceals the mounting flange.
A wiring port and trim ring provides a pass-through for the
connecting cable allowing for excess to freely pan from side
to side. |
 |
 |
A DVD player is extended down from the ceiling of the cabinet
compartment and is normally concealed behind a rolling door.
The upholstered spacer allows the motorized disc tray to clear
within the cabinet opening. The DVD player provides CD and MP3
play. |
|
| |
An infrared target on the LCD monitor allows infrared remote
control of the DVD player while it is concealed.
An optional game port can provide an AC receptacle and audio/video
RCA inputs for an electronic game.
|
| |
In the far aft-port corner of the cabin, an infrared emitter
is mounted for use of wireless headphones. This allows selective
zone listening to separate sources without disturbing others.
Wireless headphones are available in adult and child sizes.
Also dual-source models are available.
The video systems audio output may be played through
the boats stereo system via the use of a radio frequency
interface. The video systems soundtrack is selected
by simply pressing preset one on the stereo receiver.
DVD/CD/MP3 players are also available in multi-disc changers.
A larger 8-inch standard configuration LCD monitor is available
for this application.
DVD players are 12 volt mobile units with shock protection
making them ideal for the marine environment.
All components on the above add-on are DC allowing full operation
without shore power and without a generator.
AC invertors are available for AC electronic games and other
small appliances allowing full operation at anytime or anyplace.
|
 |
LCD monitors are available in at least ten different sizes
ranging from 5.6 inch to 37 inch.

LCD FLUSHED IN THE COCKPIT |
|
|
| The exterior 6.4 inch LCD monitor is flush-mounted
in the helm. The power switch and brightness controls are under
membranes that seal them from moisture. A bezel trims out the
monitor and provides a watertight fit. A custom-built cover
protects the monitor when not in use. |
 |
The factory TV/VCR combo unit lacks audio/video outputs so
we added a stereo VCR underneath. The VCRs tape and tuner
now feeds the existing interior TV set, the exterior monitor
and provides an audio output that can be heard through the stereo
system. |
|
| |
This close up shows the matching cabinet wiring port that
was added for wiring pass-throughs. Also, a high-isolation
A/B switch allows the use of the onboard UHF/VHF antenna on
the radar arch or an external shore source such as a satellite
receiver output. In this case, the internal and exterior
monitors can view separate local off-air broadcasts or VHS sources
simultaneously. |
 |
 |
The switch to the left of the stereo receiver controls the
radio frequency interface allowing A/V sound to be heard both
in the cabin and topside. The receivers fader allows selection
of cabin only, topside only or both. |
|
| |
Where a flush-mount provision is unavailable, a pan and tilt
watertight, marine-white enclosure can be used for exterior
mounting atop consoles or other platforms. A custom-fitted weather
cover is included plus a polymer base and snap-on/off canvas
protective cover can be added. |
|
| This particular upgrade package is very affordable
and extremely popular among ski boat owners because we are using
everything the boat is originally equipped with. |
