We installed this video system for the Mercedes
dealership. The video system is primarily for the children who
ride in the rear seat while mom or dad chauffeur.
A trunk-mounted 5-disc DVD changer provides instant access
to a selection of videos and music. The DVD changer also plays
music CD's and MP3 providing the children with their own selection
separate from the factory audio system.
An overhead infrared emitter transmits audio to two dual
source wireless headphones. This allows for separate audio
zones. The dual source headphones also permit the left passenger
to listen and watch a video game separately and simultaneously
while the other rear seat passenger listens to and watches
a DVD movie.
Each of the dual source headrest 5.6-inch monitors has an
infrared target for receiving and sending remote control commands
to the hidden DVD changer.
The LCD monitor trim bezels installed in the front seat headrests
prior to being dyed for a factory interior color match.

and experienced technical staff.
For added effect, the video's theater sound can
be channeled through the factory stereo system simply by selecting
the first FM preset.
