A full-color rear vision camera is extended off the antenna and mast light pedestal in order to gain a view of the transom, the full width of the swim deck and the ten feet of area directly behind the boat.

This view aids the captain when backing the boat into the slip. The camera is switchable between a standard and reversed image for the correct orientation in any application. The camera also includes a directional microphone.

A custom-fabricated polymer extension allows the camera’s view to clear the radar arch.

A 6.8” color LCD screen is mounted on the helm console. The monitor contains a small speaker and volume control. Contrast, tint and other visual settings are variable. A night/day switch provides selectable brightness. A visor assists viewing in bright conditions.

This is a dual-source monitor, which allows for a second engine compartment camera or a composite input from an audio/video entertainment source. Additional switching can be added for multiple cameras.

Typically the screen is located on the same side of the console as the open bridge or transom door. The captain can then get both views with a minimum rotation.

When space permits, LCD screens can be flush-mounted also.
