THIS 220 IS SUPER LIT UP AND SUPER LOUD!

The tower received a pair of WetSounds 485s. We added blue light rings and gloss black powdercoated billet aluminum grills.

Under the driver’s dash and just below the factory remote control we installed a WetSounds equalizer.

Behind the observer's seat a concealed amp rack contains three Boston Acoustics two-channel amplifiers. A GT-28 drives the tower speakers, a GT-24 powers the subwoofers and a GT-22 runs three pair of coaming speakers. All amplifiers are fan cooled.

Four polymer mounting pads elevate the enclosure up off the boat’s deck.

Dual KingStarboard vents allow the subwoofers radiation to freely flow from within the port console. The factory hatch in the pass-thru can be re-instated.

Four WetSounds 6 ½-inch speakers in the cockpit plus two more in the bow.

During the off-season we've made a few improvements to Robert's 220. We added a pair of WetSounds Pro80s to join the 485s. With that came two more 8-inch light rings and two more billet grills. We lit up the Pro485 horns and the port side locker is illuminated in blue.

Staying with the same amplifier series, the power was totally reconfigured with six amplifiers, which may seem excessive. But, the advantage in this particular system is that each speaker is getting optimum power. A Boston Acoustics GT-28 is bridged mono to the JL 12W7. A B.A. GT-24 (which is one-ohm stereo stable) drives the six WetSounds XS-650 in-boat speakers.

Two GT-22s are bridged mono with each dedicated to a Pro485. Two GT-20s are bridged with each driving a single Pro80. Three amplifiers are mounted on a second amp panel which is concealed behind the sub enclosure. The JL 12W7 subwoofer is absolutely destructive. The steel security gate in our shop shook violently. Neighbors from businesses and residences several hundred yards away were drawn outside by the tower speakers.

Underwater lights were added to the transom. 24 ultra bright blue LEDs lit up the entire shop.
