The Supra dealer did a masterful job of selecting contrasting colors within the
factory scheme. The black speaker pods against a red tribal wing against the
black tower produced a striking effect. |

The factory Kenwood marine CD player
and transom remote is a
great start. |
| |
|
 |
Just
under the source unit and off to the right we installed
an iPod mount on a heat-formed abs bracket. A Kenwood interface
places the iPod display and control menu on the CD player.
A single multi-pin iPod connector provides, power,
audio output, control and display data. |

A JL
Audio six-channel amplifier is
mounted to a carpet-covered
birch panel which in turn is secured at the very front of the
port side locker. |
| |
|
 |
A second battery and matching enclosure were added. The
separate cranking and deep cycle batteries are labeled for
easy identification when using the Perko battery switch. The
deep cycle battery allows a long play time for the stereo while
preserving the cranking battery. |

Six
coaxils, two in the the bow and four in the cockpit, operate
high-pass and flood the boat with mids and highs. |

 |
A
JL Audio W1 12-inch subwoofer is loaded into a sealed enclosure
which is covered by a carpeted façade. The enclosure
and façade are elevated off the deck so the added
depth does not subtract from the original leg room.
A red powder-coated aluminum grill is accented by a high-gloss
black acrylic trim ring. Both the woofer grill and the matching
overhead tribal wing received a two-part colorant and clearcoat
process.

|
|
The red tribal wing suspends four black pods and four
black halogen lamps from the tower. The red and black mirrors
the boat’s factory colors. Only two collars are required
to mount the wing and it’s ten components. The collars
are powder-coated black so they virtually disappear against
the black tower. The wing serves to conceal the wiring for
the two courtesy lights, four halogen lamps, four light rings
and four speakers.

|
 |
Two down-casting courtesy lights are housed in black and tied into
the factory courtesy circuit. The white LEDs match the factory courtesy
light system. |

This Supra was equipped with
eleven acrylic diffuser rings possessing a total of 396 ultra-bright red LEDs.
As seen these are ultra-bright and daylight visible. At night the effect
is on fire!

An under-dash bracket contains three lighting control switches; dual
front halogen lamps; dual rear halogen lamps and the eleven LED light
rings. |

The factory courtesy light switch controls our overhead courtesy
clusters. |

EARMARK can custom taylor a similar package
to compliment any boat. This Supra proves that “less
is more” my emphasizing a few aggressive appointments,
following a clear theme and eliminating tower clutter.
