The owner wanted to rock just the boat without tower speakers… But this
Supra Launch ROCKS! |
While simple, this is one of the best looking speaker/grill packages. |
The factory Kenwood source unit gets the job done. A cover reveals and
conceals for protection against water.
We built a birch amp panel, covered in marine carpet, to mount this
five-channel amplifier. The amp panel also serves to conceal most of the
wires and cables. And, we relocated the dome light. |
A pair of Polk MOMO 6 1/2-inch integral speakers in the bow. Each Polk
speaker features an external passive crossover network that is mounted via a
birch panel and concealed behind the speaker.
Two pair of Polk MOMO integrals in the cockpit. The adjustable tweeters
allow you to perfect the sweet spot. |

A Boston Acoustics G5 12-inch woofer loads into an acoustic suspension
enclosure located under the driver’s console. The subwoofer grill matches
the MOMO scheme used throughout the boat. This direct-firing application
yields more midbass and better transient response.
The Boston Acoustics G5 subwoofer is nothing short of
incredible. Accurate tonal construction with a smooth, linear
spectrum distinguishes this woofer from all others. And when
it comes to brute force, the G5 has more bump than the boat
can withstand.

For
everyone who hears this speaker combination, it immediately
becomes their system of choice. |
