It's like a mobile office, drivin' theater and video arcade all rolled into one very versatile van.
Earmark's display van was on the cover and the featured article in one of the most prestigious mobile electronics magazines, Auto Sound & Security.

The audio/video system is based on the principal that you don't have to sacrifice space for great sound. Fully loaded with 22 speakers and every amenity imaginable, this compact van still comfortably seats four.

The A/V system's motorized Alpine video display unit is custom installed into the original factory location. The molded bezel is textured and dyed to match the factory instrument panel. The Alpine F#1 Status pre-amp controller and CD player are integrated into the forward console. Further back in the console, trimmed in Brazilian Rosewood, is the F#1 remote commander, a Phoenix Gold Bass Cube control, along with window switches and the forward cellular handset.

To hide from thieving eyes when the ignition is shut off, the forward monitor motors back flush with the console, and the PlayStation system returns on a custom drawer slide.

A total of 22 Boston Acoustic Pro speakers are housed behind custom made birch plywood and fiberglass panels in the doors and rear of the van. This design offers the right weight to strength ratio.
Dual mid-bass, mid-range and tweeters in the front doors provide breath-taking dynamics. Also, the center channel features dual mids and tweeters making this the best theater sound you'll hear in a motor vehicle.
Two twelve-inch subs are mounted in sealed enclosures behind each rear seat. Hidden access and service panels are provided everywhere. A shroud and grill normally conceals the woofers and all component speakers.

A state of the art video system is run by an Alpine video switcher which allows the navigation, DVD player, DVD changer, TV tuner and PlayStation to play through the sound system or through Alpine wireless headphones. The video system allows you to watch up to 4 different sources at once. In addition to the front motorized monitor, there are several viewing monitors throughout the van. An eight-inch monitor and single disc DVD player are mounted in the rear of the center console.

Two Alpine headrest monitors with custom-built shrouds are angled upward from the rear of the front seats.

The van also includes everything in mobile office for the executive on the go -- a fax machine, front and rear cellular handsets, laptop computer and printer, all housed in specially created drawers and platforms that are pneumatically controlled and concealed. The pneumatic actuators operate without a whisper.

Below are two Optima batteries and a power supply allowing for long-term operation wherever an AC outlet is available.
An Alpine DVD navigation unit, CD/MP3 changer and DVD changer are mounted overhead in the rear cargo area.
To the left hand side are Boston Acoustics passive crossover networks mounted behind a plexiglass window and trimmed with neon.
To the right hand side is the Alpine F1 Status digital pre-amp/ equalizer/crossover behind glass with recessed neon.
This processor provides every nuance of control and time alignment.
The four Phoenix Gold amps consisting of ten channels kick out over 600 watts of ultra conservative power. Housed in a custom rack in the rear section, the amps are reversed with covers off to strut their stuff, and surrounded by red and white neon. This entire section is behind a single piece of heat-formed plexiglass. To the left are two large stiffening capacitors. To the right is a combination fuse and power distribution block.
For the latest in mobile electronics technology, Earmark's Techno-Van is definitely on a roll. Check it out in person at the Earmark in Addison. Most impressive is how this system was build to be easy for service and future upgrades.
