This jeep has been highly modified including
a Hemi engine. One of the first electronic items to add on after
getting it back from the Jeep specialty shop was the Escort SR7
Plus remote mount radar & laser detector with laser shifting
(jamming). Other unique parts of this installation included a
complete application of roadkill for soundproofing and vibration
reduction plus two custom fiberglass subwoofer enclosures.
Left & right laser shifters are flushed into the heavy
duty bumper where the second set of turn signal indicators were.
The hidden front radar receiver is attached under the
driver’s side fender extension, which is made out of a
non-metallic material that the radar receiver can “see” through.
The rear laser detector/jammer is attached to the top of the
rear license plate with its own bracket.
Escort’s SR7 Plus control panel is mounted on top of the
steering column providing in-line vision without blocking any
instruments.
Alpine’s best CD receiver starts the audio chain in the
Jeeps sound system.
