| This system starts with the factory radio and amplifier
system whose signal was converted to a cleaned up preamp signal
to feed two JL Audio amplifiers. A 300 watt amplifier drives
four Boston Acoustics component speakers high-pass while a 1000
watt amplifier pushes dual B.A. G5 12-inch subwoofers. The
factory woofer in the rear package tray was removed so that the
woofer cabinet ports feed directly into the passenger
compartment. The amplifiers and all other components are hidden
behind the façade that covers the front of the woofer cabinet.
From the cabin perspective this system is completely stealth
until you turn it on. Then you are treated to an incredibly
clean and detailed sound from the lowest bass notes to the
extreme highs. With 1300 watts of power at your fingertips this
system is “off the chain” according to the owner. |
