This BMW is outfitted with the remote mount Escort SR7
radar and laser system. The control components are inside and
the radar detector and laser shifters are hidden in the bumper.
The control head for the Escort SR7 Plus is mounted in the
ashtray compartment and trimmed out with a custom upholstered
panel. The display is angled slightly for ease of viewing and
the ashtray cover will still close.
A status and alert LED is located in the instrument cluster
and the auxiliary mute button is right at your fingertip on the
center console.
