An Alpine AM/FM/CD player with satellite radio and iPod
control provides the audio system source.
The left & right rear storage pockets were converted to
display amplifier racks with plexiglass windows. The driver side
pocket contains a JL Audio 4-channel amplifier and the 12-db per
octave passive crossovers for the Boston Acoustics door
speakers. On the opposite side is a JL Audio subwoofer amplifier
that is connected to a 10” woofer in a removable cabinet that
rests behind the back seat. The storage pocket covers were
modified for ventilation grills so that the amplifiers never
thermal.
The four doors were loaded with Boston Acoustics speakers
behind the factory grills. Separate components are used in the
front doors. Coaxils provide rear fill from the rear doors.
