This 37 foot Sport Yacht received a KVH
TracVision and four new LCD TVs. We also did a cockpit and bow
deck audio upgrade. A comprehensive security system was added.
And we built blue indirect LED lighting into the overhead arch
for effect.

Quick-release mounting on a custom aluminum powdercoated
bracket. Any Satellite TV venue can be watched on this cockpit
LCD.
.
We added an LCD in the salon against the forward bulkhead.
.
We added a larger LCD to the rear of the salon. A custom
vinyl-clad shroud concealed all mounting and wiring. The vinyl
was dyed to match the original.
.
An LCD/DVD combo unit was added to the forward stateroom
using a custom birch/laminate carriage. The carriage provides a
mounting base within an existing TV cavity. The LCD is movable
via a cantilever articulating bracket.
.
JL Audio marine coaxials replaced the four existing cockpit
speakers.
.
A pair of JL Audio marine coaxials in
white powdercoated spun aluminum Bullet pods were mounted to the
bow rails via custom quick-release clamshells. Quick-disconnect
watertight deck plugs make for instant removal and
reinstallation.
Several custom panels were fabricated to house a number of
salon components. Above, a Clarion source unit, DVD player,
auxiliary input expansion selector, bow deck level control and
cockpit level control. Below, a Clarion CD changer,
ship-to-shore satellite antenna selector and TracVision
controller. The DirecTV receiver was concealed and a radio
frequency remote allows wholeboat control. The satellite TV
receiver was delivered to both salon LCDs via high def cables
and to the whole boat via digital modulation. The DVD is
hardwired to both salon LCDs. An iPod docking cradle and
connector maintains the menu and the control on the iPod.
.
The source unit fades between the
exterior/bow/cockpit zone and the interior/cabin zone. Two
dedicated level controls divide the cockpit and bow deck zones.
This level control in the forward stateroom provides volume and
full off for the stateroom coaxials independent from the salon
coaxials.
While the security system installation is pretty much stealth it provides a
comprehensive deterent. Features and options include:
Triple LED status indicators.
Physical triggers on all hatches and cabin door.
Cockpit radar field sensor.
Multi-tone siren and horn honk.
Flashing lights.
Valet switch.
Courtesy entrance/exit lighting by remote.
Back-up battery/charging/isolation module.
Four RF keyfob controllers.
The two overhead opaque
lenses conceal eight blue LEDs per each. This provides indiresct
mood lighting from the arch in contrast to the harsh white
courtesy lights.
