Similar to the 740, the 940 has dual 5 1/4-inch poly woofers with a butyl rubber surround and the same size enclosure. The 940 is also available in black. The 940 is a wide coverage design with an angled baffle and dual tweeters per each speaker.

While a Speakercraft all-weather series is not as flashy as many of today’s tower speakers, you can easily make four times the investment and still fall short of the Speakercraft sound.

The WS740 and WS940 are also available in an ‘egg shell white’ finish which looks particularly good on the arch of a sport cruiser. However, this off white typically will not match the stark white gelcoat found on most tow boats.
